America the gift shop .

Although it is out of date, the ‘America the Gift Shop‘ project by Philip Toledano is still very worth a post. It “is an installation that reflects the foreign policy of the Bush/Cheney regime, in the fun-house mirror of American commerce.” When we buy a souvenir, it will remind us of the events that happened during the 8 year long Bush era.

Scratch .

‘Scratch’ is a sound installation by Michaël Sellam. All he needs to scratch is a computer, the Fatronik Quickplacer – the worlds fastest industrial robot, a vinyl record and customized software. I just found this youtube video, but there is a better one on his site. And if you are on there you might just want to take a look at his latest work ‘The Intergalactic Afrofuturist Space Door’.
