JavaScript Piet Mondrian composition .

Alright! Exams are finally over, so there will be more posting on bowiestie again… You have probably seen Piet Mondrian paintings. He evolved a non-representational form which he termed Neo-Plasticism. This consisted of white ground, upon which was painted a grid of vertical and horizontal black lines and the three primary colors. This one here is called “composition with yellow, red, black, blue and grey”  and is from 1920. Nice!

Composition with Javascript is an interactive work made by Kostya Loginov and Vlad Yakovlev. It uses HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery, based on the just mentioned painting. It allows everybody deconstruct the original painting and form it again in whatever he or she wants. Here is how it works:
